Russian model Kalinka Fox has dropped a fresh cosplay shoot as Lara Croft, rocking the black cocktail dress from 2006’s Tomb Raider: Legend. Known for her deep roots in gaming cosplay, Kalinka Fox has gained recognition for her takes on characters from Cyberpunk and The Witcher universes.

The timing is perfect-Tomb Raider is gearing up for a major revival. At The Game Awards in December 2025, Crystal Dynamics and Amazon Game Studios announced two new titles. A remake of the 1996 original, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, is slated for a 2026 release, alongside Tomb Raider: Catalyst, arriving in 2027. Both games use Unreal Engine 5 and feature actress Alix Wilton Regan reprising her role as Lara Croft’s voice.

Meanwhile, Amazon Prime Video is investing in the franchise’s resurgence with a new Tomb Raider series. Sophie Turner stars as Lara Croft, while Phoebe Waller-Bridge-creator of ”Fleabag”-develops the show. The cast includes veterans Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs, and Martin Bobb-Semple. Production briefly paused in March 2026 due to Turner’s injury but resumed in April without impacting the planned 2027 release.

Kalinka Fox’s cosplay showcases her ongoing engagement with video game fandoms. On itzine.ru, she’s also featured as Starlight from the series ”The Boys,” alongside other cosplayers like PeachMilky as Iris Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII, and RossoFiore as Anastasia Nazarova from Atomic Heart.
While Crystal Dynamics and Amazon Game Studios are reviving the Tomb Raider franchise with modern engines and ambitious projects, Kalinka Fox keeps the character’s look and attitude alive off-screen. Her interpretations bridge the gap between gaming nostalgia and current pop culture trends, showing how iconic figures like Lara Croft continue to inspire creatives worldwide.
What’s next for Lara Croft? With two game releases and a high-profile series on the horizon, plus ongoing fan-driven cosplay energy, Tomb Raider’s legacy is set for a strong comeback in both gaming and media. How these new adaptations resonate with long-time fans and newcomers alike will be one to watch throughout 2026 and 2027.
