OnePlus has pushed the Turbo 6X family in China in two very different directions: the Turbo 6X Pro is the battery-and-OLED option, while the standard Turbo 6X keeps an LCD display and trims a few extras to hit a lower price. Both use MediaTek chips, both promise fast charging, and both are clearly aimed at buyers who care more about battery life and refresh rate than premium branding.

The split is pretty practical. The Pro model goes big on endurance and display quality, but the regular Turbo 6X still looks like a solid value play for anyone who wants a 144Hz panel without paying for the top trim.

Turbo 6X Pro specs and features

The Turbo 6X Pro runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Super chipset with UFS 3.1 storage. Its 6.78-inch OLED screen has a 2772 x 1272 resolution, up to a 144Hz refresh rate, 1,400 nits full-screen brightness, and 3,600 nits peak brightness, plus AOD support and 3,000Hz instant touch sampling.

Camera hardware includes a 16MP front shooter and a rear pair made up of a 50-megapixel OV50D40 main camera with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The big headline, though, is the 8,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, 80W UFCS and 55W PPS support, and bypass charging.

  • Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Super
  • Display: 6.78-inch OLED, 2772 x 1272, 144Hz
  • Battery: 8,000mAh with 80W charging
  • Cameras: 16MP front, 50MP main, 8MP ultra-wide

Turbo 6X keeps an LCD display and lower price

The standard Turbo 6X uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 SUPER and a 6.72-inch LCD with Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Its camera setup is simpler too: an 8MP selfie camera, a 50-megapixel OV50D40 main camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Battery capacity drops to 7,000mAh, with 45W fast charging, while the rest of the package stays sensible rather than flashy. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP64 dust and water resistance, ColorOS 16, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC support, and a plastic frame. In other words, OnePlus is using the Pro to flex and the base model to sell volume.
