Huawei has brought two new true wireless earbuds to India, the FreeBuds 7i and FreeBuds SE 4 ANC, aiming at shoppers who want active noise cancellation, long battery life, and a few premium extras without paying flagship prices. The FreeBuds 7i sits above the FreeBuds SE 4 ANC, but both are clearly built to squeeze more features into the mid-range than many rivals manage at these prices.

Huawei FreeBuds 7i and SE 4 ANC launch in India from Rs 4,799, with the SE 4 ANC starting at Rs 4,799 and the FreeBuds 7i priced at Rs 8,799 under launch offers. In a market where brands keep undercutting each other on feature lists, Huawei is trying to win on perceived value: better drivers, stronger ANC claims, and battery numbers that are hard to ignore.

FreeBuds 7i brings dynamic ANC and spatial audio

The FreeBuds 7i is the more ambitious pair. It uses Intelligent Dynamic ANC 4.0, which adjusts noise cancellation automatically depending on the environment, and pairs that with an 11mm quad-magnet driver. Huawei also adds spatial audio with head tracking, a triple-microphone setup, and AI-powered noise reduction for voice calls.

On paper, that is a fairly aggressive package for the price bracket. Gesture controls, dual-device connectivity, audio sharing, and Bluetooth 5.4 round out the spec sheet, which is the sort of list usually reserved for pricier earbuds trying to justify themselves in a crowded field.

  • Intelligent Dynamic ANC 4.0
  • 11mm quad-magnet driver
  • Spatial audio with head tracking
  • Triple-microphone system with AI noise reduction
  • Bluetooth 5.4, gesture controls, and dual-device connectivity

FreeBuds SE 4 ANC targets value buyers

The FreeBuds SE 4 ANC is aimed at buyers who care more about getting the essentials right. It offers multi-mode active noise cancellation of up to 24dB, a 10mm dynamic driver, Bluetooth 5.4, low-latency gaming support, and multiple EQ presets. Huawei says the lightweight design was shaped by ear-shape research, which is a neat way of saying it wants these to stay comfortable for longer listening sessions.

There is also an IP54 rating on both models, so dust and splash resistance should be enough for daily use and workouts. The battery figures are the other headline: the FreeBuds SE 4 ANC can last up to 50 hours with the case, while the FreeBuds 7i reaches up to 35 hours and gets up to four hours of listening time from a 10-minute charge.

  • Up to 24dB multi-mode ANC
  • 10mm dynamic driver
  • Low-latency gaming support
  • Multiple EQ presets
  • Up to 50 hours total battery life with the charging case

Huawei FreeBuds 7i and SE 4 ANC prices in India

The FreeBuds 7i is available in Black, White, and Pink and is priced at Rs 8,799 as a launch offer, down from an MRP of Rs 13,999. The FreeBuds SE 4 ANC comes in Black and White for Rs 4,799, compared with an MRP of Rs 7,999. Huawei is clearly leaning on discounting to get attention, and in earbuds, that usually works better than a glossy launch video.

The bigger question is how sharply these launch prices hold once the initial offer window fades. If Huawei keeps the discount pressure on, the FreeBuds 7i could become one of the more interesting ANC buys in its bracket, while the SE 4 ANC looks set to be the volume seller for people who mostly want battery life and acceptable noise cancellation without fuss.
