Honor has refreshed its mid-range laptop line with the Notebook X14 Plus and X16 Plus 2026 edition, and the pitch is plain enough: more performance, bigger batteries, metal bodies, and pricing that still sits below the premium ultrabook crowd. Both machines share Intel Core Ultra 5 325, 16GB of LPDDR5X memory, a 1TB SSD, and an extra storage slot, which makes them look less like flashy showpieces and more like practical daily drivers.

Intel Core Ultra 5 325 powers both models

Honor says the chip can reach up to 52W of performance, which is the kind of number manufacturers love to wave around because it sounds desktop-adjacent without the desktop hassle. The pair also ships with an 80Wh battery, claimed to last up to 14 hours, and a 65W charger that can also provide 60W reverse wired charging. That last bit is a neat trick if your phone is gasping for life in the middle of the day.

  • Processor: Intel Core Ultra 5 325
  • Memory: 16GB LPDDR5X at 7467 MT/s
  • Storage: 1TB SSD plus extra expansion slot
  • Battery: 80Wh with up to 14 hours claimed runtime

X14 Plus and X16 Plus display sizes

The real fork in the road is display size. The X14 Plus is the lighter, slimmer option at around 1.27kg and 14.9mm thick, while the X16 Plus stretches to 1.64kg and 15.9mm. Honor is also giving buyers resolution choices: the 14-inch model can go up to 2880 x 1800 at 120Hz or drop to FHD, while the 16-inch version tops out at 2560 x 1600 at 120Hz. Both use LCD panels with eye-protection tuning, which is marketing-speak for less strain and fewer complaints after a long day of spreadsheets.

Ports, build and everyday extras

Honor kept the rest of the package fairly conventional, which is usually a good sign in this class. Both laptops use a metal chassis, full-size backlit keyboards, dual speakers, dual microphones, a fingerprint sensor in the power button, and a 720p webcam. Connectivity is also solid on paper, with two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, and even NFC support.

  • X14 Plus: 14.9mm thick, around 1.27kg, 14-inch display
  • X16 Plus: 15.9mm thick, around 1.64kg, 16-inch display
  • Both: metal body, backlit keyboard, 720p webcam
  • Both: Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, HDMI 2.1

Honor Notebook X14 Plus and X16 Plus pricing

Pricing starts at 5,999 yuan for the X14 Plus with a Full HD display, with availability beginning April 30. A higher-resolution version arrives in May at 6,499 yuan. The X16 Plus opens at 6,199 yuan, while its higher-end configuration is priced at 6,699 yuan and also launches on April 30. That puts Honor in the familiar mid-range fight against thin-and-light rivals from Lenovo, ASUS, and Xiaomi, where battery life and port selection often matter more than glossy promo slides.

The open question is whether these refreshed Honor laptops can stand out in a crowded segment where Intel-powered machines are getting more efficient, but not necessarily more exciting. If the battery claim holds up outside the brochure, that may be the detail that sells them.
