Samsung’s next compact flagship may borrow more from its top-tier phone than the Pro badge suggests. Early Galaxy S27 Pro camera leaks say the phone will use the same main and ultrawide camera sensors as the Galaxy S27 Ultra, while only the telephoto setup will differ.
That is a fairly aggressive way to blur the line between the smaller model and the flagship Ultra. If Samsung keeps the two core cameras identical and uses new image sensors in both, the Pro could end up feeling less like a cut-down version and more like a size change with one obvious compromise: zoom.

If these details hold, Samsung looks set to make the Pro a sharper proposition for buyers who want near-Ultra camera hardware without the Ultra footprint. The real question is whether the company will leave the telephoto system just different enough to preserve the Ultra’s status, or so limited that the Pro feels like the sensible choice anyway.
