Casio has turned The Mandalorian into a pair of limited-edition G-Shock watches, and the timing is no accident: both models are already on sale in the US, the UK, and EU markets ahead of The Mandalorian and Grogu. The Casio G-Shock Mandalorian watches include one model inspired by Mando’s beskar armor and another based on Grogu’s look, giving the company another easy win in its long-running pop-culture playbook.
GM2100-1ASW copies Mando’s armor
The higher-end model is the Casio GM2100-1ASW, priced at $220. It uses a forged stainless-steel bezel with a texture meant to echo beskar, measures 49.3 x 44.4 x 11.8 mm, and weighs 72 g. Casio also gives it the usual G-Shock basics: shock resistance, 200 m water resistance, and a hybrid analog-digital display.
That formula is familiar for Casio, which has spent years squeezing licensed characters into watch formats without making them feel like toy merchandise. The difference here is the metal bezel, which pushes the watch closer to the brand’s tougher premium models rather than a simple themed repaint.
BA110YK-3ASW goes for Grogu
The second watch, the Casio BA110YK-3ASW, is the more compact Grogu-inspired piece. It costs $130, comes in green, weighs 45 g, and is aimed at smaller wrists. Its water resistance drops to 100 m, and battery life is about 2 years, compared with 3 years for the GM2100.
Both watches still get the same core toolkit: world time across up to 31 time zones, a 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, and five alarms. Lighting is handled by LED backlighting, white on the GM2100 and amber on the BA110, which is a small but sensible touch for a collection that could easily have gone full novelty and stopped there.
What comes in the box
Casio is also bundling a branded stand shaped like a bounty hunter ID card, with a magnetic design that can be assembled into a 3D display for storing the watches. That sort of packaging matters more than the average marketing department wants to admit: collectors buy the story as much as the watch, especially when the story arrives tied to a major film launch.
The smart money says these will sell best as fan pieces first and watches second. If Casio keeps the pricing where it is and avoids flooding the channel, this sort of crossover should continue to work; if not, the next themed drop will be just another cosplay accessory with a battery.
