Atonemo has entered India with a small box that could save a lot of perfectly good speakers from retirement. The Streamplayer adds AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, and Tidal Connect to existing audio gear, turning older wired setups into wireless streamers without forcing owners into one app ecosystem.

That pitch lands at exactly the right time for anyone searching for an Atonemo Streamplayer in India. Plenty of people have solid amplifiers, bookshelf speakers, or hi-fi stacks that still sound fine, but now live in a world built around cast buttons and multiroom playback. Instead of buying an entirely new system, Atonemo is betting that buyers would rather bolt on streaming smarts and keep the hardware they already trust.

What the Atonemo Streamplayer adds to old audio gear

Developed in Stockholm, the Streamplayer supports 24-bit / 192kHz playback and Wi-Fi 6, so this is not just a basic Bluetooth add-on dressed up with a better name. It also includes 3.5mm analog and optical S/PDIF outputs, which should make it easy to connect to both vintage equipment and newer audio systems that still prefer wired inputs.

Gapless playback and multi-speaker synchronization are on the spec sheet too, including across different speaker brands. That last part is the most interesting: the audio industry has spent years nudging people toward closed ecosystems, so a cross-brand option is a welcome bit of friction removal.

India launch and retail plans

Atonemo says the Streamplayer will launch in India in May 2025, with sales handled through Amazon India and authorised premium audio and consumer electronics retailers. Pricing has not been announced yet, which is usually the point where a clever product either becomes an easy recommendation or gets shoved into the ”nice idea” pile.

The company is partnering with Luxury Personified LLP for distribution and operations in India. That suggests Atonemo wants to position the Streamplayer as a more premium alternative to cheap wireless adapters, even though the real competition may be less about hardware and more about whether people feel like resurrecting their old speakers at all.

Atonemo Streamplayer specs at a glance

  • AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, and Tidal Connect support
  • 24-bit / 192kHz audio playback
  • Wi-Fi 6 connectivity
  • 3.5mm analog and optical S/PDIF outputs
  • Gapless playback and multi-speaker synchronization

If Atonemo gets the pricing even mildly right, the Streamplayer could appeal to anyone with good speakers and an aging streaming setup. If it lands too high, the market already has cheaper dongles and more familiar brands waiting to make the upgrade look less charming.
