Cuktech has launched the CP25 power bank in China, and the pitch is simple enough to sell itself: 20,000 mAh capacity, up to 55 W charging, two built-in USB-C cables, and a price tag of 199 yuan, or about $30. In a market packed with generic slabs and too many adapters, the useful bit is not the spec sheet flexing – it is the fact that Cuktech has built the cables into the battery pack instead of assuming you remembered to bring one.
The CP25 is already on sale locally, and it is aimed squarely at people who want one brick that can top up a phone, tablet, earbuds case, or smartwatch without carrying a small bag of accessories. That includes Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, and other devices, thanks to broad support for fast-charging standards that have become the quiet arms race of portable power.
Cuktech CP25 built-in USB-C cables and four-way charging
The standout feature is the pair of integrated USB-C cables, each about 13 centimeters long and wrapped in a durable fabric braid. They work in both directions, so the same cable can charge your device or refill the power bank itself.
- 2 built-in USB-C cables, about 13 cm each
- 1 USB-C port
- 1 USB-A port
- Charge up to 4 devices at once
That setup gives the CP25 a flexibility edge over many rivals that still rely on a single port and your goodwill. It also helps explain the pricing: this is not a premium-metal showpiece, but a practical travel battery built to eliminate one of the most annoying failure points in mobile charging – the missing cable.
55 W output, low-current mode and a display
When using the USB-C ports or the built-in cables, the CP25 can deliver up to 55 W. The USB-A port tops out at 33 W. Inside is a 20,000 mAh battery rated at 74 Wh, which is large enough to make the pack relevant for long days away from a wall socket rather than just emergency phone rescue duty.
Cuktech also included a low-current charging mode for smaller accessories such as wireless earbuds, fitness bands, and smartwatches, plus a digital LED display on the front that shows remaining charge and current power draw. In other words, it is trying to look smart enough to justify the cable clutter.
Size, weight and protection systems
The body is made of plastic and measures 126.8 x 73.7 x 34 mm, with a weight of 385 grams. That is not pocket-friendly in the strictest sense, but it is reasonable for a 20,000 mAh unit with integrated cables and a screen.
For safety, Cuktech says the CP25 uses nine protection systems covering overheating, overload, overvoltage, and short circuits. That kind of list is easy to dismiss as brochure wallpaper, but in battery gear it is also the difference between ”fine” and ”why is this warm?”
The bigger question is whether the built-in cables will become a standard feature rather than a gimmick. If rivals in China and beyond lean into the same idea, the next generation of power banks may finally stop pretending that every user enjoys carrying loose USB-C leads in their backpack forever.
