Atlus may be lining up another full-scale Persona remake, and Persona 4 Revival could arrive in February 2027. A new leak says the game is being rebuilt from scratch, with updated 3D locations, refreshed character models, and a remastered soundtrack that stays faithful to the original music. If true, it also points to Atlus doing what works: reuse the proven remake playbook, then add just enough new material to keep longtime fans arguing online.

The claim comes from the insider lolilolailo, who is known for leaks tied to Sega and Atlus. That same source says P-Studio is aiming for a release window similar to Persona 3 Reload, which became the fastest-selling game in Atlus history. In other words, the company appears to have noticed that nostalgia prints money when you package it properly.

What Persona 4 Revival is said to include

According to the leak, Persona 4 Revival will not just be a visual touch-up. It is expected to include all content from Persona 4 Golden, including Marie’s storyline, Hollow Forest, and the ”true” ending. The report also says Atlus is preparing new story scenes, revised Velvet Room mechanics, and gameplay improvements inspired by Persona 5 Royal.

  • Release window: February 2027
  • Built from scratch
  • New 3D locations and character models
  • Soundtrack based on the original music
  • Persona 4 Golden content included

Platforms and Atlus’ remake strategy

The project is reportedly being prepared for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. That platform spread suggests Atlus wants a much wider audience than the original PlayStation-era release ever had, while also keeping the remake aligned with the broader cross-platform strategy that has worked so well for recent Persona releases.

Still, a leak is a leak. February 2027 sounds tidy, but until Atlus says it itself, the real takeaway is simpler: Persona 4 is clearly important enough to get the full remake treatment, not just a lazy polish job.
