OnePlus has unveiled the Pad 4, a sharper-looking Android tablet with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a larger battery, and a thinner body – but the big question is whether anyone outside India will actually be able to buy the OnePlus Pad 4. The company has listed the tablet on its online store in India, and the launch looks like another example of OnePlus doing the hardware part well while the business side stays hazy.
OnePlus Pad 4 specs and storage
The tablet starts with an eye-catching spec sheet. Buyers get either 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage or 12GB of RAM with 512GB of storage, which is a slightly odd step backward from the previous top-end option because OnePlus has dropped the 16GB RAM version and cut the base model from 12GB to 8GB.
That downgrade sits alongside some real upgrades: the battery grows from 12,140 mAh to 13,380 mAh, the 13.2-inch display has smaller bezels and is brighter, and the tablet still supports the OnePlus Stylo plus a keyboard cover that connects via pins. Despite the bigger battery, the Pad 4 is also a hair thinner at 5.94mm, compared with 5.97mm on the Pad 3.

OnePlus is selling the Pad 4 in ”Dune Glow” and ”Sage Mist.” The finish may be the most settled part of this whole launch, because the product itself arrives with much less certainty than the specs suggest.
India pricing and launch uncertainty
In India, the OnePlus Pad 4 costs ₹59,999, up from ₹49,999 for the Pad 3. That is not a tiny bump, especially in a tablet market where Samsung and Apple already use price to divide the field before anyone even talks about specs. In the US, the Pad 3 sells for $700, but OnePlus has said nothing about bringing the Pad 4 there.
For now, the tablet is only listed in India, and global plans are still missing in action. That fits the broader OnePlus story right now: the company has cut staff and said it is ”evaluating” its future in Europe, which makes a wide tablet rollout look less like a plan and more like a maybe.
OnePlus Pad 4 availability beyond India
The Pad 4 is easy to admire on paper, but hardware launches mean less when the company behind them is shrinking its ambitions. If OnePlus does release it beyond India, expect the pricing and regional availability to be watched almost as closely as the benchmark numbers.
