Samsung has started releasing its April 2026 security update for the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A55 smartphones. The new security patch improves device stability and protects against the latest Android vulnerabilities.

The update for the Galaxy A53 arrives with firmware version A536NKSSGGZD1 and is currently available in South Korea.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A55 is receiving its update under firmware version A556EXXSECZD1, which is rolling out in India.

If your Galaxy A53 or Galaxy A55 hasn’t received the update yet, you can manually check by going to ”Settings” → ”Software Update.”
