Xiaomi has introduced the Book Pro 14, a new laptop built around Intel’s latest Panther Lake platform. At its heart is the high-performance Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor, one of the fastest chips in Intel’s series.
This new CPU features integrated Intel Arc B390 graphics, which Xiaomi claims can rival AMD’s integrated Radeon 890M. Early benchmarks suggest this iGPU delivers gaming performance on par with the discrete Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU-an impressive feat for integrated graphics.
According to Xiaomi, the Book Pro 14 can run modern AAA games at over 60 frames per second, a notable achievement for such a thin and light notebook.

Despite its slim profile, the laptop reportedly sustains up to 50 watts of power draw even on battery, supported by a cooling system featuring a 10,000 mm² vapor chamber, dual fans, and triple airflow channels to keep performance steady under load.
Benchmark results from Weibo’s Baiwen Technology provide a clearer picture of the Book Pro 14’s performance capabilities:
- 124 points single-core and 1,103 points multi-core in Cinebench R24
- 7,163 points in 3DMark Time Spy
- 6,872 points in 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme
- 6,215 points in 3DMark Steel Nomad
These scores align with expectations for the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H and its integrated Arc graphics.
The official renders reveal a solid selection of ports for this form factor, including:
- HDMI output
- 3.5mm headphone jack
- USB-A port
- Two USB-C ports, one with Thunderbolt support
Xiaomi hasn’t disclosed pricing yet. The full launch event is expected soon in China, with a possible global release shortly after.
In comparison, most mainstream ultrabooks from Apple, Dell, and others rely on Intel’s integrated Iris Xe graphics or discrete GPUs from Nvidia and AMD. Intel’s push with Arc graphics integrated directly alongside a high-end CPU like the Core Ultra X7 chips signals a shift toward more gaming-capable ultraportables without needing dedicated GPUs, potentially challenging competitors in the thin-and-light space.
Intel’s Arc graphics combined with the Intel Panther Lake processor in the Book Pro 14 could redefine portable gaming performance in ultraportable laptops. Xiaomi’s aggressive power envelope and advanced cooling solution may set new standards for thin laptops striving for serious graphics muscle without sacrificing portability.
