The upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra, set to launch on March 30 in China, will feature a 6,600mAh battery, lower than the previously rumored 7,000mAh capacity. This is still an upgrade over the 6,510mAh cell in the Vivo X300 Pro, confirming Vivo’s emphasis on improved battery life with a balanced approach rather than massive jumps.

Leaked specifications reveal the Vivo X300 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with 16GB of RAM and 16GB of virtual RAM, plus 512GB of storage. On the imaging front, Vivo integrates proprietary VS1 and V3+ chips designed to enhance photo processing quality before and after ISP handling, indicating a strong focus on flagship-level performance and camera capabilities.

Regarding charging technology, certification details suggest support for fast 100W wired charging, with wireless charging likely capped at 40W or 50W. This charging setup complements the 6,600mAh battery, enabling rapid recharge times and comfortably supporting more than a full day of typical use.

Vivo is also launching another model during the same event-the X300s-which boasts a larger 7,100mAh battery, the biggest ever in the X-series lineup. Alongside these smartphones, Vivo plans to unveil the Pad 6 Pro tablet and possibly a new vlogging camera. While the X300 Ultra debuts in China, it is expected to arrive globally in the second quarter, showcasing Vivo’s push into international flagship markets.

This confirmed battery capacity settles rumors of a larger cell but highlights Vivo’s balanced strategy of combining substantial battery life with advanced performance hardware and fast charging technology. As competitors like Xiaomi and Samsung push for bigger batteries without compromising device slimness, the Vivo X300 Ultra blends significant capacity with flagship specs.
