Sony is bringing a fresh batch of titles to the PlayStation Plus lineup this March. Subscribers with Extra and Premium plans will gain access to several standout games, including Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and Persona 5 Royal.

The headliners are Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 for PS5 and Persona 5 Royal for both PS5 and PS4. Additionally, PS4 owners with Extra or Premium will get the Persona 5 Royal – Ultimate Edition, an expanded version of Atlus’s acclaimed RPG.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is a fast-paced third-person shooter that plays similarly to Gears of War, but set in the grimdark universe of Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40K. It’s a treat for longtime fans of the franchise and those who enjoy cooperative action, as it supports multiplayer teamwork. A third installment is already planned.

Persona 5 Royal is widely regarded as one of the best entries in the storied Persona series, blending turn-based RPG elements with social simulation. It enhances the original Persona 5 by adding content, refining mechanics, and serving as an accessible gateway for newcomers. The narrative focuses on a group of Japanese high school students who confront personal challenges while tackling surreal ”missions” inside the minds of corrupt adults in Tokyo.

Additional titles added to PlayStation Plus this March include:

  • EA Sports Madden NFL 26 (PS5)
  • Blasphemous 2 (PS5 and PS4)
  • Metal Eden (PS5)
  • The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria (PS5)
  • Astroneer (PS5 and PS4)

PlayStation Plus Classics will also expand with Tekken: Dark Resurrection, a remastered and enhanced version of Tekken 5 featuring improved character customization and new arenas. This fighting game will be exclusive to Premium subscribers on both PS4 and PS5.

All these games will be available to download starting March 17.

For an international audience, PlayStation Plus’s Extra and Premium tiers are Sony’s subscription plans offering access to extensive game libraries, competing with Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass and Nintendo Switch Online expansions. March’s lineup is a balanced mix-delivering big-name exclusives alongside popular third-party titles, aiming to keep subscribers engaged ahead of bigger releases later in the year.

With Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and Persona 5 Royal joining PlayStation Plus, Sony continues to leverage its exclusive and third-party partnerships to enhance the value of its subscription service. Industry watchers will be keen to see whether such offerings can sustain subscriber growth as competition in gaming subscriptions intensifies worldwide.
