Samsung has launched a new update for its Samsung Health app on Galaxy smartphones, bringing version 6.31.3.013 with notable enhancements aimed at expanding fitness content and partner integrations. The update notably adds a ”Discover” tab, offering users curated selections from premium partners, including personalized health details, meal plans, and product recommendations in select countries.

Samsung first introduced the iFit fitness content within Samsung Health back in November 2023. This latest update signals a broader rollout of iFit’s global fitness programming to more regions, allowing users to access workouts and health strategies at a discounted subscription launch price. While not entirely new, the update makes the iFit content more visible within the app’s new ”Discover” section.

To check for the update, Galaxy smartphone users can follow these steps:

  • Open the Galaxy Store
  • Tap the menu in the top-left
  • Select ”Updates”
  • If Samsung Health appears, tap the update icon to refresh the app with the latest features

This rollout is occurring globally, although the partner-specific content availability depends on the user’s region.

Samsung’s move to partner with brands and expand Samsung Health’s fitness content aligns with a growing trend among smartphone makers and health apps toward integrated wellness ecosystems. By combining workouts, nutrition plans, and curated offers within a single app, Samsung Health aims to keep users engaged beyond step counting or basic activity tracking.
