POCO’s X8 Pro lineup has launched in Russia featuring two new models: the POCO X8 Pro Max and POCO X8 Pro, available through distributor diHouse. Both phones are aimed at gamers and power users, offering premium designs, improved battery life, and stable performance under heavy usage.
The POCO X8 Pro Max is the first smartphone globally to use the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chip. This processor employs a 4+4 ”All Big Core” architecture, reaching a peak clock speed of 3.73 GHz. In AnTuTu benchmarks, it scores 3,085,998 points, classifying it firmly in flagship performance territory. This phone pairs the chip with LPDDR5X RAM running at 9600 Mbps and UFS 4.1 storage to ensure fast app launches and smooth user interface responsiveness.
The more affordable POCO X8 Pro runs on the Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor, delivering a 15.8% performance increase and 25% better graphics compared to its predecessor. Both smartphones feature hardware ray tracing support, which enhances in-game visual effects. They also integrate WildBoost technology, which helps maintain consistent frame rates during intense gaming sessions.
Thermal management is a key highlight for these models. The X8 Pro Max utilizes POCO’s 3D IceLoop cooling system with a 5,800 mm² surface area and 3D curvature design, optimizing heat dissipation. The regular X8 Pro employs a dual-layer cooling solution covering 5,300 mm², effectively controlling temperatures during multitasking and gaming.
