OnePlus appears poised to expand its tablet lineup with a powerful new model, the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro, which reportedly boasts a 13.2-inch display and Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Following earlier leaks about two other tablets-a smaller 8.8-inch version and a 12-inch model powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 5-this third, more premium device could signal OnePlus’s ambition to take on established high-end tablets like Apple’s iPad Pro and Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.

Renowned leaker Digital Chat Station revealed details about the rumored Pad 3 Pro, hinting at flagship-grade specs including 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a spacious 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The device’s color options might include titanium and green, suggesting a sleek, modern design palette. OnePlus’s adoption of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip-a step above the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 5-positions the Pad 3 Pro as a potential performance leader among Android tablets.

The timing could align with a planned launch around mid-2026, alongside the other two tablets previously leaked, which feature a variety of sizes and processor configurations. This multi-device strategy may help OnePlus attract a wider customer base by catering to users who want anything from ultra-compact portability to large-screen productivity. The 12-inch model reportedly includes a massive 12,000mAh battery, which hints at strong endurance across the lineup.

OnePlus’s recent price hikes for phones in its home market of China, including the flagship OnePlus 15, show the brand is feeling inflationary pressure. Although tablets weren’t part of this adjustment, the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro could carry a price tag above $800 if it launches in the US-pushing it into premium territory but potentially undercutting the Apple iPad Pro and Samsung Galaxy Tab with comparable specs.

Oppo, OnePlus just raised prices for some existing phones in China.

OnePlus has carved out a niche by delivering premium tablets that balance performance and price better than many competitors, often bundling accessories to sweeten the deal. The company’s current high-tier OnePlus Pad 3 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs $699.99 in the US, so the Pad 3 Pro could remain attractive if it stays under $1000 while packing advanced specs.

Possible pricing for the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro variants could be:

  • Base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage: around $799
  • Higher-end 16GB RAM and 512GB storage option: above $900

This new tablet could become a compelling alternative for users seeking flagship Snapdragon performance without paying Apple or Samsung prices. Still, whether the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro will launch widely outside China remains unconfirmed. Given OnePlus’s growing tablet portfolio, it seems clear the brand is serious about challenging longstanding leaders in premium tablets-and 2026 might be the year it gains a louder voice.
