OnePlus is gearing up to launch the Nord 6, and Geekbench benchmark results have surfaced ahead of its official reveal. The new mid-range contender, identified by model number CPH2793, was spotted on Geekbench powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8S Gen 4 chipset. This chipset features a formidable Arm Cortex‑X4 prime core clocked at 3.21GHz, supported by Cortex‑A720 cores, while graphics processing is handled by the Adreno 825 GPU.

The Nord 6 posted a respectable 2,040 points on the single-core test and 6,520 on the multi-core test in Geekbench’s latest results. While benchmarks provide an incomplete view of real-world usage, these numbers hint that the device will have enough muscle for demanding activities such as gaming and multitasking. Complementing its performance is 12GB of RAM and the latest Android 16 software out of the box, promising a smooth, up-to-date user experience.

Rumors suggest the Nord 6 borrows heavily from the OnePlus Turbo 6, sharing a sizeable 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and potentially a high 165Hz refresh rate. Perhaps most impressively, the phone may pack a massive 9,000mAh battery with support for rapid 80W charging-far exceeding typical battery capacities in this mid-range segment and ensuring extended uptime compared to competitors.

Alongside the Nord 6, OnePlus is also expected to introduce the Nord CE 6, which recently cleared India’s Bureau of Indian Standards certification. Targeted at a more budget-conscious audience, the Nord CE 6 will likely offer a pared-down alternative for those prioritizing affordability over flagship specs.

Although OnePlus has yet to announce an official launch date, industry whispers point to a global unveiling as soon as April 2026, with India slated as one of the key initial markets. The sequence of Nord series releases shows OnePlus doubling down on strong performance and battery life in mid-range smartphones, a fiercely competitive field as rivals boost refresh rates, processor capabilities, and charging speeds.
