OnePlus is preparing to expand its Ace 6 series with a new entrant expected in April: the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra. Following the imminent launch of the OnePlus 15T in China on March 24, rumors and certifications reveal that the Ace 6 Ultra will feature a large 6.8-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate and will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. This positions it to compete directly with the Redmi K90 Ultra in the premium mid-range smartphone segment.
Insider Smart Pikachu revealed details about the high refresh rate and large screen size, while another source, DCS, confirmed that the device has cleared Chinese certification. However, exact model details remain undisclosed. A recent filing of a phone with the model number PMK110 in China’s SRRC database has led to speculation that it could be the upcoming Ace 6 Ultra or another OnePlus model.

The Ace 6 Ultra’s MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset is designed for a balance of efficiency and speed, enhancing its competitiveness against Xiaomi’s Redmi K90 Ultra, which is expected to launch around the same time in China. As with previous Ace models, it remains uncertain if the Ace 6 Ultra will receive an international release.

Aside from smartphones, OnePlus is also developing two tablets: the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro and the OnePlus Pad Mini, both recently certified in China. The Pad Mini features an 8.8-inch display powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, while the Pad 3 Pro boasts a larger 13.2-inch screen and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. These tablets align with upcoming Oppo Pad models, reflecting the hardware-sharing strategy between Oppo and OnePlus.
The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra, alongside the OnePlus 15T and the new tablets, indicates a busy spring launch cycle for OnePlus. Official details and release dates are expected soon as the company seeks to strengthen its presence in both the smartphone and tablet markets this quarter.
