iQOO appears to be preparing to expand its Neo 11 lineup with not one but two new models: the Neo 11 Pro and Neo 11 Pro+. Both are expected to feature large 6.83-inch 2K LTPS OLED displays with refresh rates possibly reaching 165Hz-a spec that would push the envelope in their price segment. Early leaks suggest these phones will offer metal frames, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensors, and massive batteries with capacities north of 8,000mAh, signaling a considerable upgrade over the current Neo 11.
Performance-wise, prototypes are reportedly being tested with two chipsets: the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (also known as Snapdragon 8 Elite) for the Neo 11 Pro and the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 likely powering the Neo 11 Pro+. This dual-chip approach would be a strategic move to cater to slightly different user preferences or cost points. The current Neo 11 runs on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 as well but offers a smaller battery around 4,800mAh and a 6.82-inch OLED 2K display capped at 144Hz.
The inclusion of ultra-high refresh rates combined with 2K resolution in this price range marks a clear effort from iQOO to stand out against competitors who often cap flagship displays at FHD+ or QHD resolution with lower refresh rates. The sizeable 8,000mAh+ batteries also aim to address a long-standing demand for longer screen-on times without compromising charging speeds or slim phone profiles.
Interestingly, while these handsets could appeal globally, rumors suggest they might stay China-exclusive. A recent report indicated iQOO has no plans to launch Neo-series models in India for 2026, which means fans outside China may have to import these devices if they want to experience the latest Neo innovations.
With the current Neo 11’s release still fresh, the rapid introduction of Pro and Pro+ variants signals aggressive iteration in the Neo series. Whether these new models will sharply differentiate themselves or mostly polish what’s already there is yet to be seen. But with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Dimensity 9500 chips, plus a giant battery and a 2K, 165Hz display, iQOO is definitely not dialing down the ambition.
