Huawei is gearing up for a major launch event on March 23 in China, where it plans to unveil fresh entries in its Enjoy smartphone lineup. The spotlight will be on the Huawei Enjoy 90 Pro Max, alongside the Enjoy 90 Plus and possibly other ecosystem gadgets. This launch underlines Huawei’s continued push to blend robust hardware with its HarmonyOS software platform.
The Enjoy 90 Pro Max stands out with a 6.84-inch 1.5K OLED LTPS display featuring slim bezels and a centrally positioned punch-hole camera on the front. On the back, a prominent circular camera module gives it a high-end feel, echoing the design cues of Huawei’s flagship phones rather than budget models.

Powering the Enjoy 90 Pro Max is expected to be an undisclosed Kirin 8-series chipset, with rumors pointing towards either the Kirin 8000 or the newer Kirin 8020. The latter reportedly uses a Taishan architecture CPU paired with a Maliang 920C GPU, signaling strong performance credentials for mid-to-high-tier users.
The biggest headline? An enormous 8,500mAh battery, which makes the Enjoy 90 Pro Max one of the few phones currently boasting such substantial endurance. This huge battery capacity emphasizes long-lasting daily use, a feature increasingly important as battery drain remains a common concern.
Storage and memory options are expected to include an 8GB RAM base paired with 128GB, 256GB, or even up to 512GB of internal storage, offering ample space for apps, media, and games.
Meanwhile, the Huawei Enjoy 90 Plus is pegged to feature a 6.7-inch LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 6,620mAh battery, and the Kirin 8000 series processor. It is slated to arrive in several colors, such as white, blue, and a unique finish dubbed Starry Fruit, providing stylistic choices for consumers seeking variety.
Huawei’s launch this month will test how its in-house chips compete against dominant Snapdragon and Dimensity platforms. The Kirin 8-series, while not as globally prominent as Qualcomm or MediaTek alternatives, promises strong performance combined with large battery life – a combination increasingly rare in mid-range phones.
