Huawei has unveiled its latest Enjoy 90 Pro Max smartphone, featuring the Kirin 8000 chip and an enormous 8,500mAh battery. The device aims to impress with endurance and performance, debuting with HarmonyOS 6 and Huawei’s Ark Engine. The phone offers a claimed 38% overall performance boost compared to previous models.
The handset features a 6.84-inch flat OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It supports up to 4,000 nits peak brightness and uses 2160Hz PWM dimming to reduce eye strain. On the imaging side, a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization is paired with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
Huawei highlights improved smoothness, claiming a 64% boost in daily operation fluidity and a 35% faster page loading speed. Gamers benefit from the device sustaining five hours of play at 120fps in popular titles like Honor of Kings, a rare feat for mid-range smartphones.

Connectivity is upgraded with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and multi-band GPS including dual-frequency GPS and tri-frequency Beidou for precise location tracking. Durability is certified with an IP65 rating and high marks from drop tests by CQC and SGS.
The massive 8,500mAh battery is supported by Huawei’s ”super energy pump” and system-level power-saving technologies, allowing for extended use without frequent charging. This makes the Enjoy 90 Pro Max a strong choice for heavy users concerned about battery life.

Pricing for the Huawei Enjoy 90 Pro Max starts at 1,699 yuan (around $250) for the 128GB variant, 1,999 yuan ($290) for 256GB, and 2,399 yuan ($350) for the 512GB model. The phone will go on sale starting April 2.
By focusing on a powerful in-house chipset, strong battery technology, and advanced connectivity, the Huawei Enjoy 90 Pro Max targets users who want more than basic smartphone capabilities without paying premium prices. The inclusion of Wi-Fi 7 and advanced GPS technologies highlights the device’s focus on future-proof connectivity alongside core strengths in performance and battery life.
