Hard West II, the supernatural tactical Western game, is expanding beyond PC to next-gen consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Although the release date remains unannounced, publishers Klabater and Good Shepherd Entertainment confirmed the game will launch on these platforms following its August 4, 2022 debut on Steam.
Set in a dark twist on the Wild West, Hard West II follows John Carter, a notorious outlaw chasing a legendary ”Ghost Train” carrying federal gold. Carter assembles a motley gang of sharpshooters and characters with mystical powers to hijack the train, turning the lawless prairies into nocturnal battlefields filled with gunfire and supernatural terror.
