Along with this charging upgrade, the Fold 8 is rumored to feature a bigger battery, promising a combination of increased capacity and faster charging that the Fold series needs to stay competitive in the premium smartphone segment.
This update addresses one of the Fold’s longest-standing drawbacks: slower charging speeds compared to Samsung’s non-foldable flagships, which often feature 45W or higher charging.
