Dreame unveiled its latest innovation at AWE 2026 – the AQUA 100, smart goggles designed to bring augmented reality (AR) to swimmers. This lightweight gadget integrates real-time performance tracking directly into swimming goggles, targeting athletes who want instant feedback without interrupting their training.
Weighing just 68 grams, the AQUA 100 features a symmetrical, hydrodynamic design with an adjustable nose bridge for a snug and comfortable fit on various face shapes. It’s sealed with an IP68 rating, ensuring reliable waterproof protection during sessions in the pool. To combat the familiar issue of fogging, the lenses boast a durable nano-coating, which remains effective even after 1,000 wipes.
The goggles’ highlight is their monochrome green AR display powered by a diffractive waveguide. The screen offers a 640 x 480 resolution and a 30-degree field of view right in front of the swimmer’s eyes. This allows real-time monitoring of lap duration, stroke rate, pace, heart rate, and distance traveled – metrics that usually require pausing or external devices.
Behind the scenes, an AI engine tailored by Dreame processes this data to deliver personalized workout advice. Such integration of artificial intelligence with a wearable AR display is a rare approach in aquatic sports technology, setting Dreame apart from many competitors still focusing solely on wrist-based trackers.
The AQUA 100 smart swimming goggles are designed to be the next evolution in sports wearables, moving beyond traditional watches and bands. They embed AR directly into activity-specific gear, providing contextual data without distracting users. While pricing and exact availability are not yet announced, Dreame expects to release these goggles soon, offering swimmers a futuristic tool to elevate their training efficiency.
