Between March 16 and 22, 2026, several automakers adjusted prices for their models in Russia, with some offering discounts while others raised costs amid shifting market dynamics.

Discounts and price cuts on cars in Russia

GAC slashed prices on select trims of its GS8 crossover by 200,000 rubles. The Russian brand Moskvich lowered the price of its 2025 Standard Plus T configuration of the Crossover 3 by 390,400 rubles, dropping it from 1,952,000 to 1,561,600 rubles. VGV offered 100,000-ruble discounts on the U70 Pro crossover in both Lifestyle 7-seat and Executive 7-seat editions, plus across all U75 Plus models.

Price increases on Russian cars

On the flip side, Evolute trimmed its discount on the i-Space Standard 4WD 5-seat crossover by 100,000 rubles, now offering 175,000 rubles off. Meanwhile, the i-Joy crossover saw price increases of 49,000 to 59,000 rubles across all 2025 trims. The Avatr 12 2026 model also went up by 40,000 rubles.

These pricing adjustments reflect ongoing efforts by Russian carmakers to respond to economic challenges and shifting consumer demands as the market balances affordability and profitability.
