Albion Online is launching on Xbox Series X|S on April 21, bringing its sandbox MMORPG battles and player-driven economy to a new platform. The Xbox version offers full cross-play and cross-progression with PC and mobile, allowing players to continue their adventures seamlessly across devices.
The Radiant Wilds update, arriving April 13, includes enhanced biomes and upgraded graphics along with the groundwork for better controller support on Xbox. The console debut will feature an expanded gamepad control scheme, redesigned UI navigation for quick access to key menus like inventory and Marketplace, and combat mechanics adapted for controller gameplay.
Accessibility is a key focus for the Xbox release, with features designed to simplify entry for controller users. Since its initial launch, Albion Online has grown with expanded content, faction warfare, and systems supporting various playstyles. The Albion Journal helps newcomers get acclimated to the complex fantasy world more easily.
With cross-progression, players don’t need to start over on a new device when switching between Xbox, PC, or mobile. Both new and returning adventurers can expect an experience optimized for console gameplay without losing the depth and complexity Albion Online is known for.
