Indian smartphone maker Lava has expanded its Bold series just weeks after launching the Bold N2 Pro, introducing the Bold N2 Lite – a budget-friendly 4G phone designed with battery life in mind.
The Bold N2 Lite runs on a Unisoc SC9863A processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Users can further expand storage by up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD slot.
Its sizeable 6.75-inch LCD display offers HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, a solid feature in this price segment. The device comes preloaded with Android 15 Go Edition, optimized for smooth performance on entry-level hardware.

Photography is handled by a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, while selfies and video calls rely on a basic 5MP front sensor.
The phone’s standout feature is its 5,000mAh battery, promising extended use between charges. Additional specs include a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual 4G SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and an FM radio.

Available in Kolar Gold and Nilgiri Blue, the Bold N2 Lite comes in a single 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration. Lava has priced it aggressively at 7,399 Indian rupees (roughly $80), with sales kicking off on April 10 through Amazon India.
In global terms, the Bold N2 Lite aligns with ultra-budget smartphones from brands like Nokia and Samsung’s entry-level Galaxy A series, which also target users prioritizing battery life and essential features over high-end specs. Lava’s choice to ship with Android 15 Go Edition is smart, since it trims down the OS to better suit modest hardware, offering a smoother user experience compared to heavier Android versions on similar devices.
Watch how Lava positions the Bold N2 Lite in India’s fiercely competitive budget segment and whether this emphasis on battery life and clean software can sway buyers who often choose well-known global brands. The upcoming months will reveal if the $80 price tag and solid feature set provide enough value to expand Lava’s footprint beyond its established market.
