Amazfit is gearing up to bring two freshly unveiled smartwatches to the Indian market: the rugged T-Rex Ultra 2 and the fitness-oriented Active 3 Premium. Both models made their global debut last month, and the company has now started official teasers targeting Indian buyers ahead of a sale through Amazon India, official Amazfit stores, and select retail partners. The exact launch date remains under wraps.

The Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2 is made for outdoor adventures, featuring a 1.5-inch AMOLED screen shielded by scratch-proof sapphire glass and a Grade 5 titanium bezel and case back to maximize robustness. It boasts a 10 ATM water resistance rating alongside dual diving certifications, allowing it to endure underwater excursions comfortably.

Outdoor enthusiasts benefit from six satellite positioning systems and full-color global maps, which ease navigation across unfamiliar terrain. Storage-wise, the T-Rex Ultra 2 packs a hefty 64GB capacity. Unusual for a smartwatch, it integrates a dual-mode flashlight with adjustable brightness, including a ”green light” mode that won’t disrupt night vision goggles. A dedicated SOS signal adds an extra layer of safety, while battery life lasts around 30 days in normal use or over 50 hours with continuous GPS running.

The Amazfit Active 3 Premium takes a more streamlined approach, targeting fitness enthusiasts who want a capable yet elegant wrist companion. Its 1.32-inch AMOLED display pushes peak brightness to an impressive 3,000 nits, ensuring visibility even under bright sunlight. Sapphire glass protects the screen, all encased in a 45mm stainless steel body with four physical buttons to control workouts and features.

Zepp Coach powers built-in running workouts, while navigation support includes six satellite systems and offline maps. Storage is a modest 4GB, suitable for apps and health data. Battery life spans up to 12 days in regular conditions, dropping to about 7 days under intense use.
