Gmktec has launched the Evo-T2S mini PC in China, featuring an Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor and 64GB of RAM in a compact chassis. Priced at 14,999 yuan (around $2,170), the Evo-T2S is designed for users seeking a powerful desktop replacement with strong AI capabilities and versatile connectivity options.

The Evo-T2S is powered by Intel’s latest Core Ultra X7 358H processor, built on the advanced 18A 1.8nm process node. This hybrid CPU features 16 cores: 4 performance, 8 efficiency, and 4 low-power cores, with turbo speeds up to 5.1GHz. It delivers impressive 180 TOPS of INT8 AI performance through its integrated Intel NPU 5 engine, boosting AI inference and enhancing cooperation between CPU and GPU tasks.

Graphics are handled by the Intel Arc B390 GPU, equipped with 12 Xe3 cores clocked up to 2.5GHz. The B390 supports ray tracing and is capable of 1080p gaming, video editing, and 3D rendering. It also includes 96 XMX AI cores, compatible with Intel’s XeSS upscaling and AI-driven frame generation technologies to improve visual quality.

Memory is provided by 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM running at 8533 MT/s, paired with an 853GB SSD. Connectivity options include the AMD RZ717 module for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, two Ethernet ports offering 10GbE and 2.5GbE speeds, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, and dual USB4 ports. Additionally, an OCuLink PCIe Gen4x4 slot is provided to connect full-sized desktop GPUs for increased graphical performance if needed.

Gmktec plans to release a higher-end Evo-T2S variant with the Intel Core Ultra X9 388H processor for even greater performance. Competitors like Aoostar and SEAVIV are also releasing mini PCs featuring AMD Ryzen processors with USB4 and PCIe expansion support, reflecting growing interest in compact yet powerful desktop systems.
