Hisense has opened preorders for its new flagship projector, the XR10, which debuted at CES 2026. Positioned as the company’s most advanced home theater projector to date, the XR10 boasts high-end specs aimed at serious cinephiles.
The Hisense XR10 supports native 4K UHD resolution at 60 Hz and can project images ranging from 65 to a massive 300 inches diagonally. It uses a triple-laser light source delivering up to 6000 ANSI lumens, ensuring bright, sharp visuals even in rooms with ambient lighting. The projector’s light source is rated for up to 25,000 hours of operation.
With a throw ratio of 0.84 to 2.0:1 and a hefty 2.39x optical zoom, the XR10 offers installation flexibility without frequent repositioning. It also features lens shift functionality, a seven-level iris adjustment, and a 17-element glass lens setup. Its native contrast ratio stands at 6000:1, which can dynamically boost to 60,000:1.

Hisense XR10 audio system and cooling technology

The projector’s cooling system uses dual-channel liquid cooling to minimize fan noise.
How the Hisense XR10 compares to other home theater projectors
For context, while projectors targeting home theaters from big players like Sony and Epson often top out around 3000-4000 lumens, Hisense’s 6000 lumens puts the XR10 among the brightest home projectors unveiled recently. Triple-laser setups remain relatively rare, putting Hisense ahead in light quality and longevity. The inclusion of Wi-Fi 7 and HDMI 2.1 also keeps it competitive with premium models from brands like LG and Samsung.
