Casio has unveiled the new Casio Pro Trek PRW-B1000WM-1, a premium titanium version of its Pro Trek PRW-B1000 watch created in collaboration with Tokyo’s White Mountaineering label. The PRW-B1000WM-1 is now available in the US, priced at $990, and is already in limited supply, appealing to collectors and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

This model upgrades the standard resin Pro Trek with a full-metal construction, featuring a matte black case and a lightweight titanium H-link bracelet with a secure triple-fold clasp. Titanium reduces weight dramatically compared to steel while maintaining toughness-important for outdoor wear. The watch’s utility-driven look is low-contrast, with white markers and a bright red seconds hand on a black dial adorned subtly with White Mountaineering’s signature triangular pattern created through translucent printing and ion plating.

The Casio Pro Trek PRW-B1000WM-1 combines analog hands with a digital window at the lower dial, alongside a 9 o’clock subdial that acts as a smart location indicator when paired with Casio’s app. Its core technology is flagship Pro Trek: a Triple Sensor suite measuring compass direction, altitude, barometric pressure, and temperature. It charges via Casio’s Tough Solar system and syncs time automatically using Multi Band 6 radio signals and Bluetooth connectivity. The dial is protected by sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, complemented by a flame-retardant bio-based resin case structure and dual LED backlighting for night use.

Priced at $990, this wristwatch targets serious adventurers and style-conscious collectors seeking robust outdoor functionality combined with an elevated material finish. Its limited availability suggests Casio positions it as a niche, premium offering rather than a mass-market release. Given the PRW-B1000 line’s strong reputation for accuracy and resilience, this titanium edition is a solid choice for those who value durability and design finesse in their outdoor companions.

Casio’s inclusion of titanium in this Pro Trek model reflects a broader trend of outdoor watches adopting higher-end materials typically found in pricier luxury models. This aligns with growing consumer demand for outdoor gear that delivers top performance while carrying a premium wearable appeal.
