Samsung has teamed up with German HVAC veteran FläktGroup to present a broad array of air conditioning and climate control technologies at MCE 2026, Europe’s premier heating, ventilation, and air conditioning exhibition held in Milan. The partnership blends Samsung’s innovation-driven air conditioning tech with FläktGroup’s century-old expertise catering to demanding commercial and residential sectors. With AI-fueled data center growth and greater energy efficiency demands, the collaboration targets efficiency and quality control across multiple environments.

Occupying a 500-square-meter space, Samsung’s booth features not only its renowned Wind-Free air conditioners and efficient heat pumps but also the integration of FläktGroup’s advanced HVAC systems. One standout is a combined system marrying five FläktGroup indoor units with Samsung’s outdoor DVM S2+ unit. This setup optimizes energy consumption via AI-driven building management systems, appealing to large-scale commercial users such as data centers and clean rooms, where strict environmental control is mandatory.

Featured products range from the CAIRplus air handling unit, tailored for large buildings with humidity regulation and air purification, to the Geko fan coil unit, which stands out for its slender profile and whisper-quiet operation. The EHS All-in-One solution exemplifies a greener approach by combining heating, cooling, and hot water production with R32 refrigerant, which has significantly lower global warming potential than older coolants. Samsung’s Digital Variable Multi (DVM) series rounds out offerings aimed at large commercial spaces for streamlined climate control.

On the residential front, the 2026 iteration of the AI Wind-Free Combo Pro highlights Samsung’s focus on personalized comfort and smart connectivity. The latest model improves cooling power and features a refreshed design. Users can choose from three airflow modes-AI Direct, AI Indirect, and Wind-Free-allowing tailored cooling that adapts dynamically to individual movement patterns and room conditions. This AI Motion Wind technology reflects an increased push toward intelligent, user-centric home climate solutions.

Samsung’s expansion into the HVAC market, bolstered by FläktGroup’s legacy, coincides with rising demand driven by the surge in AI infrastructure and environmental regulation pressures. By blending smart management systems with energy-conscious hardware, Samsung is positioning itself to compete strongly against established HVAC providers while catering to tomorrow’s sustainability and performance expectations.
