Black Shark has unveiled the Ice Cooling Back Clip 6 Pro Magnetic Edition, a new high-powered smartphone cooler aimed at gamers. Available now for pre-order in China at 249 yuan (about $36), this smartphone cooler promises serious temperature control for heated gaming sessions.
The cooler features an advanced 35W cooling system powered by a custom 40×40 mm TEC chip. According to Black Shark, the cooler can reduce temperatures by up to 50°C and cool the phone’s surface down to -25°C when the ambient temperature is 25°C. This model is said to be 30% more efficient than its predecessor.
A standout feature is a built-in 0.71-inch HD display showing real-time data such as temperature, power, cooling level, and fan speed. Users can customize the interface look, including wallpapers, adding a gamer-friendly flair.

The design includes 16 RGB LEDs for vivid gaming aesthetics. The ICECOLD 2.0 cooling system keeps noise low at around 39 dB, while the Cold Forging 2.0 technology boosts heat dissipation by 26%. The device weighs 104 grams and uses aviation-grade aluminum plates to maximize cooling efficiency.
Equipped with two temperature sensors and an AI-based control system, the cooler prevents overheating, overcooling, and condensation. Safety features include overheating protection, a 12N magnetic mount, silicone pads to protect phone bodies, and dual air vents for comfortable gaming use.
Users can connect the cooler to the Black Shark Equipment Box app for further customization. To achieve the full 35W cooling power, Black Shark recommends using a charger with at least 40W output.
Black Shark, a subsidiary of Xiaomi focused on gaming phones and accessories, continues to refine smartphone cooling solutions as gaming on mobile devices heats up worldwide. This cooler competes with similar offerings from brands like Razer and ASUS but emphasizes magnetic attachment and AI regulation for safety and performance.
With phone gaming becoming more demanding, thermal management accessories like the Ice Cooling Back Clip 6 Pro will be key for sustained performance. Expect Black Shark and competitors to push smarter, quieter, and more powerful cooling technology in the months ahead.
