Apple is celebrating its 50th anniversary in France with a four-part series of events at its flagship Champs-Elysees store in Paris. Unlike previous global activities that focused on single events, Apple France is emphasizing local culture by combining music, art, and technology in a unique program set for March 25 and 26, 2026. The festivities highlight the country’s rich creative scene through explorations of electronic music genres and innovative visual storytelling.

The lineup includes evening interviews and afternoon workshops, reflecting Apple’s ongoing commitment to blending technology with culture in ways that resonate locally. Graphic artist So Me will kick off the celebrations with a discussion led by music journalist Naomi Clement, exploring his influence on the intersections of music and visual art. Later, electronic music producer Boombass will delve into French Touch, a pivotal 1990s dance music movement that put France on the global electronic map.

Daytime sessions provide hands-on insights: DJ Myd will showcase his creative process and demonstrate GarageBand, Apple’s music production app. A standout feature is the presentation of SOPORI FM, a fictional radio station created as an ambient electronic album available exclusively on Apple Music. Its creator TRENTE, alongside artist Pi Ja Ma, will craft visual stories live on iPad, blending auditory and visual arts in an immersive experience. These sessions showcase Apple’s push into experiential retail events that fuse its hardware ecosystem with artistic expression.

This multi-faceted approach follows Apple’s earlier initiatives celebrating with live performances and exclusive content in other countries, such as Korea’s K-Pop highlights. Apple France’s choice of the Champs-Elysees store is intentional-the site previously hosted a special Apple Music radio studio during the brand’s 40th anniversary in France in 2021, underscoring the location’s symbolic importance.

Tim Cook’s fondness for France and its vibrant creative community adds depth to the event: ”Every time I go there, I am inspired by this welcoming, dynamic and deeply creative community of artists and developers,” he noted in 2021. This anniversary series channels that spirit by spotlighting electronic music’s legacy and pairing it with digital arts, intertwining local heritage with Apple’s technological tools.

Fans and curious creatives can register their interest online, although the local ”Today at Apple” calendar currently shows no scheduled events. The deliberate blend of exclusive music, art performances, and hands-on experiences at a flagship store hints that Apple is crafting a new template for retail celebrations-one focused on culture and community as much as on products.
