Xiaomi has unveiled its latest smart home gadget in China: the Mijia Smart Bathroom Heater G20. This new model follows the G10 and brings several upgrades aimed at faster heating and enhanced hygiene. The Mijia G20 features a 2800W graphene heating element that can warm up a bathroom in under a minute.
It pairs this with a dual DC inverter motor that handles both heating and ventilation simultaneously. For air quality, the heater includes a built-in plasma generator claiming up to 99.9% sterilization efficiency. Fans can push air at up to 240 cubic meters per hour, helping to clear out bad odors in roughly two minutes.

Beyond heating and sterilization, the G20 adds a built-in LED light designed to mimic natural illumination-ideal for bathroom environments. It also comes with a 3-inch LCD Bluetooth remote control that can be wall-mounted nearby. The heater supports Xiaomi’s HyperOS Connect platform, enabling remote management through the official app or voice commands.
Priced at 999 yuan (approximately $145) in China, the Mijia G20 currently has no announced plans for an international release. However, Xiaomi already offers similar products abroad, like the Mi Smart Space Heater S, hinting that global availability might follow.
The Mijia G20 smart bathroom heater stands out in the niche but growing category of bathroom heating solutions, especially popular in Asia where cold showers are less common and humidity control is essential. By combining graphene heating technology with integrated sterilization and rapid heating features, it targets both warmth and cleaner air. This combination meets the increasing consumer demand for smarter, healthier home devices. Xiaomi may eventually expand the G20’s reach to competitive markets where brands like Dyson and Philips also offer heating with air purification.
