An internal photo shared online shows the A57 alongside the Galaxy A55 and A56, with the newest model clearly sporting a more substantial cooling component. This signals Samsung’s focus on managing heat better to maintain smoother, sustained performance-especially during intensive tasks like gaming or multitasking.

While the Galaxy A-series usually relies on modest, iterative improvements, boosting thermal capacity is a smart move that could prevent the device from throttling under pressure. Vapor chambers efficiently transfer heat away from the chipset, so a bigger one means the A57 should theoretically stay cooler and perform more consistently over longer periods than the A56 or A55.

The Galaxy A57 has already surfaced in hands-on and unboxing clips from Thailand, featuring a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant priced at 17,999 THB-about 2,000 THB more than the A56 model with the same specs. The quicker-than-usual leak timeline suggests this device’s launch is imminent. This modest price hike might be partly justified by the enhanced vapor chamber, which could translate to a noticeably smoother user experience through better thermal management.

Improved thermal management is often overlooked but critical in mid-range phones, where chipset performance can degrade during prolonged usage due to heat buildup. Samsung’s decision to install a larger vapor chamber within the Galaxy A57 could give it an edge over competitors that struggle to balance performance and heat dissipation in this segment.
