Citizen is gearing up to launch a new watch inspired by the X-Men, part of its ongoing collaboration with Marvel. The model, dubbed Citizen X-Men AW5007-17W, joins the brand’s Marvel lineup that also features the recently released Captain America 85th Anniversary CA7046-46W.
The X-Men AW5007-17W has already appeared on Citizen’s official Amazon store in the US but is currently listed as temporarily unavailable. The watch sports a two-layer black dial centered with a silver X-Men logo. Blue and gold accents on the face reference both of the iconic mutant teams, subtly blending Marvel lore into its design.
The stainless steel case measures 42.3 mm in diameter and carries a polished silver finish. It pairs with a black leather strap edged in yellow stitching, adding a splash of color that complements the dial details.
This classic analog watch features three hands tracking hours, minutes, and seconds. A simple date window sits at the 3 o’clock position for everyday practicality.
Under the hood, it runs on Citizen’s proprietary Eco-Drive technology paired with the J810 movement. This solar-powered system charges from any light source-natural or artificial-eliminating the need for battery swaps. The watch also offers water resistance up to 30 meters, making it suitable for everyday wear but not heavy water activities.
Citizen hasn’t announced the exact release date for the X-Men AW5007-17W yet. The suggested retail price is $375, positioning it as an accessible option for Marvel fans and watch enthusiasts alike.
