Xiaomi has launched the Mi Home Robot Vacuum 6 Max in China, introducing a powerful and feature-rich upgrade over its previous robot vacuum models. The Vacuum 6 Max delivers an impressive suction power of up to 35,000 Pa, matching high-end competitors like the Roborock Saros 20.

The vacuum uses a three-brush system: a central roller brush flanked by two side brushes to efficiently capture dust and debris from floors.

For mopping, it employs a roller mop with an extendable attachment that improves floor cleaning. The device dispenses clean water through 16 nozzles and collects dirty water inside, preventing any mess on your floors.

One key design feature is its chassis, which can overcome obstacles up to 6 cm high thanks to two mechanical ”legs.” Despite this capability, its slim 9.3 cm height allows it to fit under most furniture easily.

Powered by AI, the vacuum can identify up to 280 types of obstacles to avoid collisions and distinguish 47 categories of dirt to automatically select the optimal cleaning mode for each situation.

The docking station automatically empties the dustbin and cleans the mops with hot water heated to 85°C. It also supports Xiaomi HyperOS Connect for remote control via the official app or compatible voice assistants.

Pricing for the Xiaomi Mi Home Robot Vacuum 6 Max starts at 6,999 yuan (around $1,020 USD) for the base water tank version. Currently, the device is available only in China, with no confirmed plans for international release.

This robot vacuum targets users seeking a high-suction, smart cleaner that competes with premium models from Roborock and other leading brands. Its obstacle navigation and mop performance will be key areas to watch in upcoming real-world tests.
