Satechi has unveiled the OntheGo Foldable Stand Hub, a portable docking station designed for maximum mobility with a built-in collapsible stand. The compact design lets you fold the stand flat, making the hub easy to slip into a jacket pocket or backpack for on-the-go use.
The foldable stand supports smartphones and tablets in portrait mode. When paired with a keyboard and mouse, compatible tablets can effectively replace a laptop for mobile productivity.
Its USB-C cable tucks neatly underneath the dock’s body, improving portability and preventing cable clutter. Once connected, the dock expands your device’s connectivity options considerably.
The hub’s port selection includes:
- Two USB-C ports, one supporting power delivery for charging
- One USB-A port for legacy devices
- HDMI output for connecting to displays or smart TVs
- 3.5mm audio jack on the right side
- SD and microSD card slots on the left side
Satechi says the dock can deliver up to 100 watts of power when paired with a sufficiently powerful adapter, allowing it to charge laptops and other high-powered devices.
The OntheGo Foldable Stand Hub supports Microsoft Surface Pro 9, 10, and 11 tablets, as well as a range of Apple devices, including the iPhone 15 and newer, iPad mini (6th generation), iPad (10th generation), iPad Air (4th generation), and iPad Pro models from 2018 onward.
Currently available in the U.S. for $79.99, Satechi has not announced international release plans yet. However, their products typically reach Europe and other regions within a few weeks of the U.S. launch.
While Apple and Microsoft both offer proprietary docking solutions for their devices, Satechi’s new hub stands out with its foldable design and broad compatibility, bridging multiple ecosystems in a single compact package.
