Oppo is gearing up to expand its Find X9 series with the Find X9 Ultra, which has now appeared in China’s 3C certification database, confirming support for 100W wired charging. Alongside ambitious camera specs and a sizable battery, the Ultra variant is shaping up as a premium flagship set to debut globally by mid-2026.
The Find X9 Ultra, identified by the model number PMA110, now has official 3C certification in China. The approval reveals that Oppo will include a 100W fast charger in the box, continuing the trend of ultra-fast charging speeds in its flagship lineup. There are also rumors of a 50W wireless charging option, a feature that is becoming a standard expectation for high-end devices.
Details hint at a quad-camera setup co-engineered with Hasselblad, boasting a staggering 200-megapixel main sensor, complemented by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide, 200-megapixel periscope with 3x zoom, and an additional 50-megapixel periscope lens. This setup suggests Oppo’s aggressive pursuit of leading-edge mobile photography capabilities, challenging competitors like Samsung and Xiaomi, who have also pushed multi-camera arrays with ultra-high resolutions.
The selfie camera will likely feature a 50-megapixel sensor-a spec rarely seen outside of ultra-premium smartphones. On the display front, the Find X9 Ultra is expected to incorporate a 6.82-inch OLED panel with a 2K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, staying competitive with Google’s Pixel 8 Pro and Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Under the hood, the device will run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with a hefty 7,550mAh battery. This combination promises not only snappy performance but also impressive endurance, catering to the modern user who craves both speed and all-day usage.
Find X9s and X9s Pro: Different strategies for global and Chinese markets
While the Find X9 Ultra aims for a global stage, Oppo’s Find X9s Pro, powered by the Dimensity 9500 chipset, is reportedly staying exclusive to China. This model is said to have dual 200-megapixel cameras paired with a 50-megapixel sensor, offering a slightly different approach to photography than the Ultra.
For worldwide customers, Oppo is preparing to release the Find X9s, featuring the Dimensity 9500s chip. The X9s appears to be a toned-down alternative to the original Find X9, swapping camera configurations and dropping wireless charging support, likely to hit a lower price point for broader appeal outside China.
This segmentation is a familiar tactic for Oppo and other Chinese brands, tailoring premium hardware for domestic buyers while offering more modest options internationally where price sensitivity is higher. It also reflects the fractured global market for high-end smartphones, balancing flagship aspirations with regional demand.
With the Find X9 Ultra’s imminent launch in the next few months, it will be interesting to see if Oppo’s aggressive specs and charging speeds can sway the crowded flagship field dominated by Samsung, Apple, and Google.
