According to leaks, the company is already testing an intermediate firmware version and could open the beta program as soon as next week. This update isn’t about flashy new design tweaks-it’s an early move to prep flagship devices for the next major OS overhaul.
Traces of HyperOS 3.3 have appeared across multiple regions, signaling a transition from internal developer builds to broader public testing. The rollout should cover the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra for China, Europe, India, and global markets, along with the Xiaomi 15T Pro in Russia, Europe, and global variants. Xiaomi follows its usual pattern: premium models get first access to new builds before the update trickles down to more affordable devices.
So far, HyperOS 3.3 looks like a stability and compatibility update rather than a feature-packed release. It’s expected to retain most of HyperOS 3.1’s capabilities but integrate Android 17’s APIs, apply targeted bug fixes, improve overall system stability, and streamline performance. Essentially, it’s a foundational step toward HyperOS 4-not an update designed for flashy presentations or big feature drops.
