Vivo is gearing up to launch the X300e, with the smartphone, model number V2612A, just cleared China’s 3C certification-one of the final steps before release. According to local insiders, the Vivo X300e is expected to hit the Chinese market in July or August under this name.

The 3C database confirms the Vivo X300e will support 90-watt wired fast charging. There’s no mention of wireless charging in the certification, which is typical, as 3C focuses on wired power specs. Prior to this, the same model passed through China’s MIIT and TENAA regulatory bodies, so it’s cleared most of the key approvals.
TENAA listings reveal key specs: a 6.59-inch flat OLED display, a 50-megapixel front-facing camera, and a triple rear camera array. The rear cameras include a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter. The optics and image tuning have been handled by Zeiss, a partnership Vivo has used to elevate camera quality and distinguish itself from competitors like Oppo, Xiaomi, and Honor.
Arguably the most notable feature is the massive 7,100mAh battery crammed into a chassis less than 8mm thick and weighing about 203 grams. While 5,000-5,500mAh batteries were once the norm for this segment, Chinese manufacturers are now pushing denser batteries without bulking up their phones. Vivo seems ready to join this trend, delivering long endurance without turning the X300e into a brick.
Rumors also point to the X300e being powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset-the same processor featured in the Vivo X300 FE. Another hint: the model recently showed up in the IMEI database, which often suggests a forthcoming international release. If Vivo maintains these specs and keeps pricing competitive, the X300e could be one of the company’s standout devices in the second half of the year.
In comparison, flagship phones from Apple, Samsung, and Google typically top out at around 30-50W wired charging speeds, with battery capacities between 4,000 and 5,000mAh. Vivo’s push for a 90W fast charge, combined with a 7,100mAh battery, puts it at the forefront of battery technology for Android devices, especially in the mid-to-high-tier category.
What remains to be seen is how Vivo balances power efficiency and thermal management with such fast charging and a large battery in a slim design. The success of the Vivo X300e could influence trends among Chinese brands in delivering high-capacity batteries without sacrificing form factor.
