OnePlus has a new budget phone on deck, and the timing is almost comically tight: live photos of the unannounced OnePlus N6 have surfaced just three days before its official debut in India. The leak shows both the phone itself and what looks like a generous retail bundle, which is a nice change from the usual ”here is the phone, good luck” treatment that budget buyers often get.

The OnePlus N6 is shaping up to be one of OnePlus’s cheapest models yet. According to the leaked details, it should land at under 20,000 Indian rupees, or about $210, while still packing a few specs that punch above its price.

Live photos show the OnePlus N6 and the full box

Abhishek Yadav, a leaker with a track record for getting phone details right before launch, shared the images. The photos suggest OnePlus is including a charger, cable, and a branded case in the box, which will immediately make the N6 look more appealing than many rivals that ship with little more than the handset and a prayer.

OnePlus N6 specs already look unusually ambitious

OnePlus has already confirmed most of the hardware, and the list is eye-catching for an entry-level device. The N6 is expected to use an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel front camera, and a huge 8000mAh battery with 45W wired charging.

  • Display: AMOLED, 120Hz
  • Main camera: 50MP
  • Front camera: 8MP
  • Battery: 8000mAh
  • Charging: 45W wired
  • Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 6300, according to preliminary data

OnePlus N6 price could make it a budget standout

If that price holds, OnePlus is aiming directly at the crowded budget tier in India, where battery life and charging speed often matter more than brand prestige. A phone with an 8000mAh battery and bundled accessories is a straightforward pitch: less compromise, fewer add-ons, and a spec sheet that should look louder than the sticker price.

The official announcement is set for 30 June in India. The open question is whether OnePlus can keep the final price close to the leak and still make the N6 feel like a proper OnePlus phone rather than just another low-cost box with a familiar logo on it.
