The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 has had its clearest leak yet, and it does a decent job of cutting through the usual smartwatch fog. Fresh Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 renders shared by Evan Blass show Samsung’s next Ultra model in Titanium Gray, still sticking with the circular display inside a squircle case, but now with a bezel marked from 1 to 12. That detail matters more than any rumor about slimmer edges, because it changes the watch’s face without changing its overall shape.
The new images also suggest Samsung has softened the strap design. The dual-buckle layout is still there, but the ridged texture is gone, replaced by a cleaner band that looks less rugged and more polished. Around the back, the health sensors are still packed in, and dual speaker vents remain on the left side of the case.
What the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 renders reveal
Leaked specs line up with the hardware shown in the renders. Samsung is reportedly pairing Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite chip with 2GB of RAM and an 800mAh battery, which would be a meaningful step up from the 590mAh cell in the original Galaxy Watch Ultra. That bigger battery is the kind of upgrade Samsung should have made earlier; battery life is still the first thing people ask about once the shine wears off a premium smartwatch.
- Chip: Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear Elite
- Memory: 2GB of RAM
- Battery: 800mAh
- Connectivity: Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6.0, UWB
Samsung’s 2026 watch lineup looks thinner
There is also a bigger product story hiding behind the renders. Reports say Samsung is skipping the Classic model entirely for 2026, which would leave the Ultra 2 as the only watch borrowing the rotating-bezel look, numbers and all. Whether the bezel actually rotates is still unknown, but the styling alone suggests Samsung wants the Ultra line to carry more of the company’s premium watch identity.
Leaks point to a July launch alongside the Galaxy Watch 9 and three new foldables. Expect more images before then; Samsung’s major launches rarely make it to the finish line without a few more accidental reveals.
