Xiaomi has rolled out the Smart Band 10 Pro, leaning hard into the same formula that has made its Pro wearables easy to recommend: a big display, long battery life, and a price that does not wander into smartwatch absurdity. The new Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro sticks with Xiaomi’s own software instead of Wear OS, but adds NFC, a brighter screen, and enough sports and watch-face options to keep bargain hunters busy for a while.

It is also a fairly direct follow-up to the Smart Band 9 Pro, which means Xiaomi is clearly iterating rather than reinventing. That is usually the right move in this segment; most buyers want a readable screen, decent fitness tracking, and fewer charging cables, not a tiny philosophy seminar on the wrist.

Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro display and design

The Smart Band 10 Pro uses an aluminum frame and chassis with 5ATM water resistance. Up front sits a 1.74-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a 480 x 336 pixel resolution, and Xiaomi says it can reach 2000 nits at peak brightness. The band is available in three colours, and the shape will look familiar to anyone who has seen last year’s model.

Battery life and fitness features

Inside is a 350mAh battery, which Xiaomi says is good for up to 21 days of continuous use under light operation. That kind of stamina is still one of the strongest arguments for bands over full smartwatches, especially in a market where many rivals still ask for a charger every few days.

Xiaomi’s software stack includes more than 150 sports modes and 200 preloaded watch faces, plus access to its own services. There is no Google Wear OS here, so this is firmly a Xiaomi ecosystem play rather than a do-everything mini phone.

Price and NFC editions

Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 5.4, and the band pairs through the Mi Fitness app on Android or iOS. NFC is also on board, enabling contactless payments on supported versions, which is the sort of convenience feature that sounds small until you stop carrying a wallet.

  • Standard model: €79.99
  • NFC edition: from €99.99
  • Ceramic edition: from €99.99

The Smart Band 10 Pro sits in Xiaomi’s familiar sweet spot: cheap enough to impulse-buy, but not so stripped down that it feels like a compromise dressed up as value. The real question is whether rivals can match that battery-plus-price combination without cutting corners elsewhere.
