Baseus has launched a 20,000mAh power bank that tries to solve the oldest portable-charger annoyance in the book: forgotten cables. The new model combines built-in USB-C and Lightning leads, a 30W output ceiling, and a front display, all for about $14. At that price, it is aimed squarely at the ”good enough, don’t overthink it” crowd – and that crowd is huge.

The formula is simple: carry less, charge more. Baseus says the power bank can handle up to four devices at once, which is the sort of spec that sounds like marketing until you remember how many accessories people now travel with. The catch, as always, is shared power; plug in everything and nobody gets the full glory of the top wattage for long.

Built-in USB-C and Lightning cables

Inside the 2C+1A+Lightning layout are integrated USB-C and Lightning cables. The USB-C lead supports up to 30W bidirectional charging, while Lightning tops out at 20W, so it covers both Android phones and Apple gear without forcing users to bring a separate cord for each camp. That is the sort of practical design choice rivals love to copy after pretending it was obvious all along.

Baseus also adds a regular USB-C port rated at 30W and a USB-A port rated at 22.5W. The bank’s internal battery is rated at 74Wh, which keeps it within airline transport rules, and the company says that capacity is good for about 3.8 iPhone 17 charges or roughly two to 2.5 charges for current flagship phones from other brands.

Fast-charging support and the LED readout

On the spec sheet, the power bank supports PD 3.0, PPS and QC 3.0, so it is not stuck in the charging dark ages. The LED display shows the remaining percentage, which is one of those tiny quality-of-life features that quickly becomes non-negotiable once you have it. At this price, Baseus is clearly betting that convenience will beat fancy branding every time.

What happens next is fairly predictable: other low-cost accessory brands will chase the same formula, but not all of them will manage the combination of built-in cables, multi-device output and airline-friendly capacity at such a low sticker price. If this model is broadly available, it could become the kind of cheap travel charger that ends up in a lot of backpacks before anyone bothers to compare it with the premium stuff.
