The most popular products are classic split-system units designed for apartments and houses, regarded as durable solutions for hot summers. Meanwhile, steady demand exists for budget-friendly alternatives such as fans, portable air conditioners, and compact devices.

Russia’s air conditioner market mainly consists of split systems and portable units, favored for their adaptability to the country’s extreme weather conditions. Compared to global brands like LG, Samsung, and Daikin, local retailers such as M.Video focus on affordability and versatility to meet seasonal heat spikes and cold winters.

As summer approaches, M.Video and competitors are expected to increase promotions and stock of air conditioners while expanding smart climate device selections. The shift toward permanent home cooling solutions indicates long-term growth beyond seasonal demand, encouraging manufacturers and retailers to innovate on price, energy efficiency, and ease of installation.
