The iQOO 15T has surfaced in live photos ahead of its presentation on 20 May, and the leak suggests a very aggressive spec sheet for the iQOO 15T: Dimensity 9500 Monster, a 200-megapixel main camera, an 8,000 mAh battery, and a body that is still relatively slim.
Dimensity 9500 Monster is the headline feature
The chip is the whole point here. The iQOO 15T is said to be the first smartphone built around Dimensity 9500 Monster, a version of MediaTek’s new flagship SoC that reportedly adds exclusive optimizations and a custom Q3 chip developed in-house. That kind of tuning is exactly how phone makers try to turn ”same silicon” into a bragging right – and in gaming phones, it usually matters more than marketing fluff.
According to the leak, the device was also tested in games, with performance described as ”simply amazing”. Hyperbole? Sure. But if iQOO wants to keep its performance-first reputation intact, this is the category where it needs to overdeliver.

iQOO 15T display, camera and battery specs
The leaked hardware is a classic ”more of everything” recipe. The iQOO 15T is said to feature a 6.82-inch flat 2K display, a 200-megapixel main camera, and an 8,000 mAh battery. Despite that capacity, the phone is still tipped to measure 8.25 mm thick and weigh about 216 g.
- Display: 6.82-inch flat panel, 2K resolution
- Main camera: 200 megapixels
- Battery: 8,000 mAh
- Thickness: 8.25 mm
- Weight: about 216 g
- Dimensions: 163.37 x 76.71 mm
Android 16 and OriginOS 6 come preinstalled
Out of the box, the phone is expected to run Android 16 with OriginOS 6. That puts it right in line with where flagship Android phones are heading: newer software on day one, fewer excuses later. If the leak holds, iQOO is aiming to pair big-battery endurance with a launch-ready software stack instead of making buyers wait for the first cleanup update.
Digital Chat Station has a decent track record, having previously nailed details about Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, plus early claims about Realme GT 7 Pro and MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 timing. So while nothing is official yet, this is the kind of leak that tends to become a checklist when the announcement finally lands on 20 May.
