The Redmi Watch 6 NFC model also supports contactless payments via NFC, compatible with Mastercard and Visa cards, although the full list of banking partners hasn’t been disclosed yet.

Redmi Watch 6 pricing and availability
The Redmi Watch 6 base model is priced between $97 and $123, depending on the region. The NFC-enabled Redmi Watch 6 NFC costs approximately $137 and is currently available only in Poland.
Xiaomi has not yet announced release dates for other major markets, but the expansion across Europe and Southeast Asia indicates a gradual global rollout.
Compared to competitors like Apple Watch SE and Samsung Galaxy Watch Active series, the Redmi Watch 6 series focuses on affordability and long battery life, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious consumers and emerging markets.
With these smartwatches, Xiaomi aims to bridge the gap between basic fitness bands and higher-end smartwatches by offering bright displays, extensive fitness tracking features, and NFC payment capability at a value price. Wider regional availability and banking partnerships for NFC payments will be key to the devices’ success outside China.
